Oclaro launches high performance zero-chirp tunable XFP

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Oclaro, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCLR), a tier-one provider of optical communications and laser solutions, today announced the production release of an advanced zero-chirp full-band tunable XFP (TXFP) that delivers full 300-pin equivalent performance in a small, pluggable, MSA footprint with low power consumption. As a volume supplier of tunable laser solutions, Oclaro has developed an extensive product portfolio and the addition of the advanced zero-chirp TXFP transceiver strengthens this technology leadership. The company will be showcasing its tunable laser portfolio at the upcoming ECOC show (booth #1368 & 1370) on September 19-21, 2011, in Geneva, Switzerland.
