Technicolor launches a Home Control and Security edition of its MediaTouch tablet

LONDON -- Technicolor (Euronext Paris: TCH) today announced the launch of a Home Control and Security edition of its MediaTouch tablet, a new solution developed in partnership with iControl Networks.

This partnership combines Technicolor’s leading experience in digital home platforms and customized tablet solutions with the leading iControl OpenHome™ Software Platform to deliver integrated home management, control, security and energy management solutions to Multiple System Operator (MSO) and Network Service Provider (NSP) customers.

“Our partnership with iControl offers a differentiated benefit to our service provider customers by enabling them to deliver an optimized broadband home management experience utilizing a next-generation solution with best-in-class hardware for their subscribers,” said Vince Pizzica, president of Technicolor’s Digital Delivery Group.
