Aruba chooses real-time, behavioral-based attack mitigation solution.
July 8, 2014
MAHWAH, N.J. -- Radware (Nasdaq:RDWR), a leading provider of application delivery and application security solutions for virtual and cloud data centers, today announced that leading Italian Web hosting company Aruba S.p.A. has selected Radware's DefensePro - a real-time, behavioral based attack mitigation solution - to bolster service availability and protect its complex network infrastructure.
While smart network design and good capacity planning have historically offered organizations with basic DDoS defenses, the evolution of attacks in the last few years has crippled old security approaches, rendering them ineffective against these new types of cyber threats. Aruba experienced DDoS attacks that directly impacted the availability of its service and network infrastructure. Due to this growing threat, Aruba required a solution that would mitigate the impact of these attacks. It evaluated several anti-DDoS vendors in the market looking for a solution that would guarantee SLA for its two million customers and subscribers even while under an attack.
After a thorough evaluation process, Aruba selected Radware's DefensePro for DDoS mitigation and SSL-based protection to fully protect its applications and networks against known and emerging threats.
