(NASDAQ:FFIV - News), the global leader in Application Delivery Networking, today announced that Hong Kong Dragon Airlines (Dragonair) has chosen F5's FirePass to be an integral element of Dragonair's SSL VPN deployment, which will enable airline staff worldwide to access the corporate network and applications via the internet with maximum security protection. Dragonair continues to expand beyond the Asia Pacific region, employing over 3,000 staff worldwide, while offering 31 passenger destinations and cargo services internationally. It is imperative that Dragonair staff members, including their mobile workforce, around the world are able to connect to the corporate network and access enterprise applications in a secure, easy-to-deploy and cost-effective manner; increasing corporate-wide efficiency. Connecting "everybody, anytime, anywhere" is therefore a key objective for Dragonair's Information Management Division. Dragonair's key evaluation criteria included:
