Leading Lights Deadline Looms

If you haven't yet entered this year's Leading Lights awards, you'd best hurry up -- the initial deadline for entries is this Friday, March 25.

YES -- THIS FRIDAY!!! So get shiftin'!

There are plenty of award categories to choose from -- we have 27 this year (including two new additions) plus three brand-new Women in Comms (WiC) awards. Phew!

You can see the full list of awards categories, details about how to enter and a link to our FAQ document, at the Leading Lights 2016 home page.

As a reminder, though, the two new categories are:

Most Innovative 5G Strategy: Awarded to the company that has outlined and clearly communicated an innovative, market-leading 5G strategy.

Outstanding Transformation Strategy (Service Provider): Awarded to the communications service provider that has devised and implemented a transformation strategy of any kind (business, technical, cultural) that will improve its business potential and competitiveness in the coming years.

The three WiC awards are: Most Inspiring Woman in Comms, Female Tech Pioneer of the Year and Female-Led Startup to Watch.

For more details about the awards and who won last year, see Leading Lights Awards 2016 - Open for Business.

If you feel you're not going to get it together by the end of this week, though, don't panic -- entries can be submitted after March 25 as we've already figured out an extension date: Friday, April 8 is the very final on which we'll accept submissions.

There is a catch, of course: Any entries submitted after March 25 attract a late entry fee. So fire up the espresso machine, overdose on some decent caffeine and get those entries in pronto!

And good luck...
