Salt Lake Googling

7:30 AM -- A Salt Lake Tribune reporter has employed a fun new toy, Google Trends, to determine the most popular Google search items for residents of the Beehive State. His findings:

Consider that predominantly Mormon, family-friendly Utah leads the nation in searches on such terms as LDS Church President "Gordon Hinckley," "Jesus," the "second coming," "scrapbooking," "baby names," "potty training," "quilting," "Barbie" and the sappy 1980 romantic movie "Somewhere in Time..."
On the other hand, he notes:

Salt Lake City ranks No. 1 for the term "panties..."
Naughty, naughty bees.

This tool is a great time waster, though I wouldn't swear to its accuracy. I was unable to reproduce all of the author's findings (though "potty training" and "panties" held true), but I did find that Salt Lake City leads the way when it comes to searching for "beehive." New York City, oddly enough, ranks fourth there. And, while Utah cities dominate the search for "LDS," Salt Lake City also comes in a close fourth in the search for "LSD." Groovy bees.

And, by the way, Kuala Lumpur is way out in front in the search for "Kenny G."

re: Salt Lake Googling No thong, more like boxers. I've been told that devout married couples wear the garments even in intimate encounters.

re: Salt Lake Googling I can confirm it's all true, except for the thong and boxer part.

More like long johns, or as you gentiles would say, thermal underware. Should have seen them before they got modernized. They were dang uncomfortable.

And sex with each of your wives while wearing them is something to be envied, not made fun of. Showering with them on saves water, a precious resource in SLC.

Enough with the Huber-bashing.
