The combinationof Continuous Computing's Flex21(tm) CompactPCI platform and SS7 blades fromTelcoBridges, an innovative provider of high-density telecom bladessupporting Voice over IP (VoIP) and time division multiplexing (TDM) mediaand signaling to system integrators and original equipment manufacturers(OEMs), has enabled Vertex Telecom to achieve its aggressive time-to-marketrequirements for new product introductions.

By utilising TelcoBridges' TB640 System-Blade, which runs ContinuousComputing's Distributed Fault-Tolerant / High Availability (DFT/HA)Trillium® software, in conjunction with Continuous Computing Flex21 systems,Vertex Telecom was able to introduce its products and services to the marketmore rapidly than it would have otherwise. Vertex Telecom provides pre-paidcalling card and post-paid long distance telephone services, integrated dataproducts, and MPLS IP-based virtual private network solutions to thefast-growing Asian American community and enterprise markets. The specificTrillium software stacks that Continuous Computing provided to the Vertexcompanies include Trillium SIP and Trilium SS7 ISUP.
