Re: LTE differentiation The perspective from the rural wireless sector of the industry is interesting--they are all laser-focused on how to compete against the big two. In addition to differentiating via technologies like LTE, they need to play up their "local" status in their marketing, they need intelligence about customer behavior via analytics, and they need to look at localized strategies for services like M2M that add revenue.

And I can attest that the hats were indeed previously killed. Great gift idea for someone whose hair is... er... "thinning," if you happen to know anyone like that.

LTE differentiation It was a really interesting show with great, unique perspectives, and it's still going on, by the way. ALU's Cassidy Shield is on stage now talking about how to differentiate LTE, using T-Mobile as an example. Differentiation will become increasingly important as footprints and capabilities become more comparable.
