Hey, what's that crazy sound, you ask? Well that's just another enterprise wireless LAN startup getting hep to the CEO shuffle, daddio
Yes indeed, this time its gateway/switch vendor ReefEdge Inc. that's getting down to a brand new exec beat. The Fort Lee, N.J.-based startup has replaced its original CEO and founder –- Ajei Gopal -- with Dave Goretski, formerly a general manager at Dictaphone. Gopal becomes the COO.
Two of the firm's other founders, Inder Gopal and Sandeep Singhal, are leaving, although they will still be on hand to advise the company. Finally, ReefEdge has brought onboard Ron Elwell as its new chairman.
All we can say is: ReefEdge, what took you so long?
Yep, its getting so it might be more pertinent to ask which enterprise wireless LAN startup hasn't traded its original head?
(The obvious answer to that question -- for the moment anyway -- is switch startup Airespace Inc.)
Here's a list of stories relating to the rest of the management changes in this market:

The new hire may help to increase ReefEdge's visibility in the market. Despite being one of the pioneers of the WLAN appliance market, ReefEdge was pretty quiet in 2003, arguably the year when the sector first started to really grow. It wasn't until December that ReefEdge broke cover with its first switch products for the corporate market (see ReefEdge Makes Switch ).
