SAN FRANCISCO -- Related Content Database, Inc. (RCDb) is pleased to announce a corporate name change to Watchwith® and the launch of the Watchwith Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) product offering. The company is also unveiling a new logo, a new website at watchwith.com, and today announces the opening of its beta developer program for the Watchwith Platform™. The Watchwith Platform enables television, film and advertising content owners to maximize the value of their content. By adding a layer of time-based metadata to their programming, content owners can build new business models and drive consumer engagement with program related content across multiple connected devices. The Watchwith Platform’s web-based console enables time data management from creation to delivery. Watchwith enables content owners to create new licensable related content properties that will generate profits across media far into the future.

“Our new name reflects our mission, to create a world where every frame of film and television is rich in amazing opportunities,” said Zane Vella, chief executive of Watchwith. “The Watchwith Platform provides the essential foundation for time-data event creation, integration, control, syndication and measurement. Content owners and developers can now dimensionalize and add value to every moment of their movies, television programs and advertising.”
