Proximion Raises $2.8 Million

KISTA, Sweden -- Through a recent new issue, the technology company Proximion Fiber Optics AB raised an additional SEK 28 million. “This is a confirmation that we are on the right path,” says Proximion’s managing director Raoul Stubbe. The new investment round has recently concluded for Proximion Fiber Optics, a high technology company within the fiber optic sector. Including this new issue, the company has now raised SEK 65 million in risk capital.

“In an otherwise grim investment climate, this shows that our investors strongly believe in our technology and our ability to achieve established goals,” says Raoul Stubbe, managing director and one of Proximion’s founders. The new investment comes from InnovationsKapital, business angel Jan Hummel and a group of Canadian investors; all thus increase their engagement in the company.
