DALLAS -- Proximion Fiber Optics AB, a supplier of In-Fiber-Intelligence(tm) for safeguarding and enhancing the performance of optical networks, announces the appointment of John Buie, former Director of Sales at Ericsson and Director of Fiberoptic Component Business Unit at Honeywell, as Proximion's Vice President of Sales. With over 25 years of experience, Buie will direct Proximion's global sales efforts by building a sales team and infrastructure to support the sales process and increase their customer base worldwide. Buie brings significant experience in sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing to Proximion. Most recently, Buie was the Director of Sales at Ericsson Microelectronics where he was responsible for increasing the sales of optical products to Ericsson's key customers.
