FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Enavis Networks, an ECI Telecom company (NASDAQ: ECIL - News) and a leading provider of current and next-generation bandwidth management systems, today announced that Protel, a leading Mexican national carrier, has deployed T::DAX®, Enavis' All-Band(TM) international gateway and bandwidth management system, to maximize the efficiency and reduce the costs of providing its customers reliable connectivity and increased international services as the carrier optimizes its network in Mexico. The contract builds on the existing relationship between Enavis and Protel, who first deployed T::DAX in their Laredo office in 1999."Having the T::DAX system in our Laredo office for three years has given us the opportunity to enjoy the product's capabilities and performance. The system's ease of deployment and track record within our network, coupled with the customer support Enavis has demonstrated over the years, were the primary drivers in our decision to deploy additional T::DAX systems as we move forward with our network optimization," said Benigno Perez Lizaur, vice-chairman and president of Protel.Enavis Networks Ltd.
