Amino Communications has won a significant order from Pioneer Telephone Cooperative for high-definition set-top boxes

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Amino Communications, the world leading independent IPTV specialist, has won a significant order from Pioneer Telephone Cooperative for high definition (HD) set-top boxes (STBs).

Oklahoma-based Pioneer will use Amino’s A130 and multi award-winning A130M STBs as part of a major HD upgrade for its 50,000-plus customers. One of the leading telephone co-operatives in the US, Pioneer offers a range of services including 161 channels of digital TV that can be bundled with a range of voice, cellular and broadband services.

The upgrade comes as Pioneer switched its middleware provider. By choosing Amino, with experience in integrating over 80 IPTV ecosystems, the transition has been seamless with no negative service effects to Pioneer’s customers.
