Synacor appoints Ron Bernstein as vice president of advertising sales

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Synacor, a market leader powering personalized homepages and online entertainment services for high-speed Internet subscribers, today announced the appointment of Ron Bernstein as Vice President of Advertising Sales.

Prior to joining Synacor in July, Bernstein served as the Vice President of Product Ad Sales at AOL, responsible for several key sales initiatives, including AOL Homepages and AOL Video Sales. Bernstein was hired by Synacor to build out a national sales organization that will monetize advertising opportunities across their premium portal client platforms.
