Radcom announced that Swisscom purchased Radcom's Omni-Q service assurance solution for their new IMS production network
February 3, 2010
TEL AVIV -- RADCOM Ltd. (NASDAQ: RDCM) today announced that Swisscom purchased RADCOM's Omni-Q service assurance solution for their new IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) production network. Swisscom is Switzerland's leading telecom provider, with approximately 5.5 million mobile customers and around 1.8 million broadband connections.
RADCOM has accompanied Swisscom from their earliest stages of investigating IMS technology several years back, during their deployment of the Omni-Q solution in their lab. "As IMS was rolled out in the first phases of commercial services Swisscom found a need for pro-active Tier 2 and 3 engineering troubleshooting," said Armin Diethelm, CEO from Emitec AG, RADCOM's Swiss distributor. "The IMS network deployment involving an Ericsson core and Broadsoft application servers resulted in extremely complex correlation challenges. RADCOM provided the solution."
