Subex adds seven new telecom BSS/OSS deals in Latin America

BANGALORE, India -- Subex Limited, a leading global provider of OperationsSupport Systems (OSS) for communications service providers, continues torecord new contract wins for its Revenue Maximization and FulfilmentAssurance solutions in the Latin America region. During the past six monthsthe company had closed seven new customer deals within one of thefastest-growing BSS/OSS markets in the world.

The new deals were struck with leading wireless and wireline telecom serviceproviders in several countries across Latin America. The customer wins havebeen for Subex's Revenue Assurance System, MonetaR and Fraud ManagementSystem, NikiraR, as well as Syndesis ControllerR, Syndesis ExpressR andSyndesis TrueSourceR from the Fulfillment and Assurance solution (FAS)suite, underscoring the continued impact of the FAS business since theSyndesis acquisition a year ago.

A 2007 study by Analysys Research entitled Global Operator Attitudes toRevenue Management Survey revealed that service providers in the Caribbeanand Latin America market lose close to 16 percent of revenue due to variousforms of fraud, poor OSS processes, billing errors and credit managementissues. In order to meet the increasing demands of its existing customersand new business prospects, Subex plans continued expansion of its existingLatin America based professional services and support operations.
