NEW WESTMINSTER, British Columbia -- Parasun Technologies Inc., a leader in partnering with cable operators to provide Broadband Internet services and support, has announced their Trusted Third Party (TTP) Service solution for CALEA (Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act) Compliance.
Parasun’s TTP model will greatly simplify the processes and reduce the expenses involved with Broadband operators’ obligations to become CALEA Compliant by the FCC deadline of May 14, 2007.
The localized control afforded by the Parasun Operations Support System (OSS) Broadband Provisioning and Management System performs the Intercept Access Point functions for CALEA compliance. The high-cost components required for Mediation and Translation activities for the secure delivery of intercept records and content to Law Enforcement Agencies are centralized at Parasun’s Network Operations Center and serve as a shared resource while adhering to strict security standards. On the service side, Parasun handles the administrative functions for the receipt, verification, and fulfillment of authorized CALEA-related requests.
“Parasun has always acted in partnership with our customers to ensure they provide the most efficient and profitable Broadband services in their markets. With the pending deadlines for CALEA Compliance for Broadband service providers, we recognize the needs of those delivering Broadband services in small and mid-sized markets for an affordable, no-hassle solution to satisfy their compliance responsibilities,” said Erik Loptson, Director of Business Development for Parasun Technologies Inc. “Parasun’s TTP Services offer the best solution for Broadband providers operating in small to mid-sized markets throughout the United States.”
