Collaboration aims to automate service provisioning and network management of Concept.10 broadband access network
February 8, 2011
STOCKHOLM -- PacketFront has, in cooperation with its local partner Onninen Oy, signed a contract with a leading Finnish telecommunications operator Concept.10.
The aim of the project is to automate the service provisioning and network management of the Concept.10 broadband access network, which is based on VDSL2 and FTTx technologies. This challenge fits perfectly with PacketFront’s focus on developing the PacketFront Broadband Management as a stand-alone product portfolio. PacketFront has supplied Concept.10 with BECS, the award winning network control and provisioning system. At the same time PacketFront provides its ASR5000 and DRG700 access product portfolio to support Concept.10 FTTx build-out.
‘The scope of this project is to implement the PacketFront solution in an already operational network and implement an overall system taking care of all different network entities. We are glad that Concept.10 has chosen PacketFront to realize the project. We are also convinced that we can reliably deliver the project with our partner Onninen Oy, who specializes in providing turnkey solutions to fibre networks,‘ says Timo Kuusela, VP Sales, Business Unit Broadband Management Solutions at PacketFront.
