The first commercially operational open access OSS/BSS system by Nucleus Connect
September 23, 2011
SINGAPORE -- Nucleus Connect today announced the completion of its OSS/BSS system implementation. This redefines the deployment of the open access fibre network in Singapore. The first commercially operational OSS/BSS system on an open access network deploys both innovation and transparency to engage the Retail Service Providers (RSPs) like never before.
Nucleus Connect was incorporated in 2009 as the official operating company (OpCo), responsible for designing, building and operating the active infrastructure of Singapore’s Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (Next Gen NBN). Nucleus Connect launched commercial services on 31 August 2010, implementing the world’s first open access platform, empowering RSPs with full flexibility to design, build and scale their backbone infrastructures to deliver broadband connectivity services of up to 1Gbps.
