WALTHAM, Mass. -- NetCracker Technology announced today the expansion of its Strategic Partnership Program in response to increased worldwide customer demand and partner requests for NetCracker's products, solutions, and expertise.

After a record 2006 and an outstanding start to 2007 driven by major transformational projects with customers such as France Telecom/Orange Group, MTS, Sprint, Swisscom, TELUS, Telstra, UPC, and others, NetCracker has been approached by new and existing partners who want to build formal practices and competency centers around the globe focused on the NetCracker solution suite. These partner relationships create powerful value propositions of mutual benefit to NetCracker and its partners.

"Service providers are increasingly demanding end-to-end solutions that combine the best of product with services," says Shira Levine, Senior Research Analyst, OSS and Billing at IDC. "IDC believes that formalized, rigorous partnership programs can help all parties expand the reach and scope of their solutions, and are a critical part of the growth of the overall OSS/BSS ecosystem."

The NetCracker Strategic Partnership Program is based on an integrated, holistic approach to managing the partnership lifecycle. The program supports varying partner models ranging from NetCracker's OSS being a component of a system integrator's solution, to the creation and implementation of a joint OSS architecture and implementation methodology. The program is structured to accommodate the broad needs of qualified system integrators, communications hardware providers, and communications software providers.

The NetCracker Strategic Partnership Program has three tiers that incorporate Platinum, Gold, and Silver product and technology training and certifications as well as a separate Sales training and certification program. Each level of partner membership has a corresponding set of support and benefits and is based on fully developed achievement criteria and partner participation. As in the past, all qualified NetCracker partners are required to undergo rigorous training to offer uncompromised quality of service to customers.

"We have formalized NetCracker's Strategic Partnership Program to create a mutually beneficial relationship that is more broad-based and enables qualified partners to extend NetCracker's solution delivery capabilities and quality standards," said Andrew Feinberg, NetCracker's President and CEO. "Our customers and prospects will benefit significantly with local support and the availability of NetCracker's resources anywhere in the world."
