STOCKHOLM -- Netadmin Systems, a Swedish developer of software that automates operation and business processes in metropolitan, residential and other broadband networks, has hired Matthias Trygg as its new CEO.

Matthias Trygg (49 years old) last held a position with Motorola, where he was responsible for the BHS (Broadband Home Solution, Open IPTV Systems) business area in Europe. He has also been responsible for global product marketing of open standard based IPTV systems. Previous assignments include managing positions with Kreatel Communications AB, WM-data, Adcore Sweden AB and Ericsson.

The NETadmin product – a software system which automates operations for broadband network owners – has taken the market by storm, quickly becoming the Nordic market leader and claiming a sixty percent market share in Sweden. Netadmin is currently in a phase of international expansion.

“Netadmin is a company with remarkable potential. New municipal and regional broadband networks are developing rapidly all over the world, giving Netadmin with its strong home market position beneficial grounds for international expansion,” said Matthias Trygg. Matthias Trygg will assume his position on October 5th.
