Nakina Systems announces expanded solutions partner program, joint customer wins

OTTAWA -- Nakina Systems, the leading provider of network integrity management solutions, has announced the expansion of its Solution Partners Program, which has already resulted in joint customer wins. The expanded program enables Nakina partners to deploy customized and targeted network integrity applications based on Nakina’s Network Operations System platform, accelerating time-to-market and customer roll-out for new Ethernet, IMS, LTE and optical solutions.

One of Nakina’s first solution partners, Accedian Networks, has enjoyed rapid adoption of its Vision EMS™ platform, a carrier-grade management system built on the Nakina OS. The companies’ software developers worked together to integrate Accedian’s unique Plug & Go™ instant provisioning feature for EtherNID® & MetroNID® packet assurance demarcation units into the EMS. The efforts resulted in a fully-automated device commissioning, configuration and inventory management solution that greatly reduces the install time and operational effort required to deploy carrier Ethernet services.

This integration, combined with the rich fault and device management features of the Nakina Network OS, has proven a value-added differentiator for Accedian’s solutions. Within a year of its introduction, the Vision EMS™ has now been successfully deployed by leading wireless and wireline service providers in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia/Pac, including a recent win at New Zealand-based Vector Communications.

Vector selected Accedian’s switch-free Ethernet solution for deployment in its VectorFibre metropolitan network.
