PLANO, Texas -- MetaSolv Software Inc., a global leader in comprehensive service fulfillment solutions for next-generation communications service providers, today announced it has executed an agreement with a leading U.S. based, global networking and communications company to enable the delivery of its voice-over-IP (VoIP) services. The customer is a leading provider of both residential and enterprise voice and data services worldwide.

The global service provider selected MetaSolv as its activation platform for next-generation VoIP services, as it migrates its network from circuit to IP. The selection was based on MetaSolv’s extensive activation credentials and the ability for MetaSolv to enable its VoIP services while providing a common activation platform for existing and future voice and data services. The proven scalability and performance of the MetaSolv activation solution allows the customer to automate the delivery of VoIP services over multiple vendors’ network elements.
