Comverse Appoints Senior Execs

Gani Nayak and Jacques-Herve Maupin come on board at Comverse

WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Comverse (CNSI), the global leader in business enablement through BSS, mobile Internet, value-added and managed services, today announced that Narasimha "Gani" Nayak will join the company as Senior Vice President, Systems & Solutions, effective November 14, 2012. In this new position, Mr. Nayak will be responsible for all Comverse ("CNS") product marketing, delivery and maintenance.

"Gani Nayak is an experienced executive with an extensive background in payment, billing, messaging and value-added services solutions for mobile network operators. He has a deep understanding of the mobile software and equipment space through various General Manager, product management, marketing, engineering and R&D leadership roles throughout his career," said Philippe Tartavull, Comverse, Inc.'s President and Chief Executive Officer. "Gani has a strong track record for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations and driving financial performance and customer satisfaction, and he will be an outstanding addition to the CNS team."

In this new position, Mr. Maupin will be responsible for driving Comverse's ("CNS") business and operational activities in the Asia Pacific region. Dr. Weiming Li will continue in his role as Regional Vice President, focusing on key regional customers.
