ClearVision Analytics gives service providers unprecedented network visibility into the home
September 9, 2010
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- ClearAccess unveiled its Intelligent Pipe™ application family for the ClearVision® management platform, enabling broadband providers to proactively address support and churn, as well as research new services opportunities across their subscriber base. The first application in this initiative is ClearVision Analytics™, which combines TR-069-based data collection, report building tools, and data export capabilities that further increase the cost savings and revenue opportunities that the ClearVision platform provides to service providers.
Using ClearVision Analytics, service providers can study the data present in the residential gateways they manage across cable, DSL, fiber, and wireless footprint, and cross-reference it with subscriber information for a complete analysis of their service offering. Service providers can use ClearVision Analytics to create and share reports that will shed light on network-wide trends in home network devices, Wi-Fi security and performance, broadband speed and connectivity status, CPE health, adoption of value-added services, and other areas to improve efficiencies and maximize their broadband investments.
ClearVision Analytics can be used to breakdown the data collected from services and the future Intelligent Pipe applications to increase service provider visibility into top support issues, while delivering real-time marketing intelligence used to define new service offerings. ClearAccess will release additional Intelligent Pipe applications over the coming months, including per-device bandwidth monitoring and quality of service, Wi-Fi signal strength detection, and enhanced consumer device auto-discovery and management.
“The Intelligent Pipe initiative allows the service provider to play a central role in the management of the connected home,” said Ken Hood, SVP of Marketing and Business Development. “ClearVision Analytics provides a rich data set that enables service providers to proactively improve the consumer experience, while providing key insights into the subscriber base for new service offerings.”
