RICHARDSON, Texas -- Yadkin Valley Telephone, an IPTV service provider, today announced the successful implementation of NetOmnia™, a customer-centric network and service assurance system from Centina Systems, Inc. NetOmnia™ will replace the existing legacy system and monitor entire communication infrastructure including voice, data and video networks.

Scott McDowell comment: "Yadkin Valley Telephone evaluated the NetOmnia system and was impressed with the capabilities and the simplicity of user interface. The ability to monitor everything on a single platform, and having the detailed information about problems, will allow our staff to resolve issues more rapidly and make us more efficient. The system was also designed so integration of new products and technology will be painless. We were able to integrate a majority of our multi vendor network and go live with the system in 3 days." This could take several months with the legacy system.

Anand Gonuguntla, CEO for Centina Systems, said, "IPTV brings new challenges to service providers. Attracting and keeping customers is key to the success of a new revenue stream. Yadkin Valley Telephone acknowledged the importance of customer service in a competitive marketplace, and that it will be a major differentiator for service providers. We are very happy Yadkin Valley Telephone recognized the value of NetOmnia as a tool for their customer support personnel to streamline their network problem resolution process."
