LITTLETON, Colo. -- Clever marketing professionals are always looking for ways to promote their service to a captive audience. For example, customers are already accustomed to hearing telephone hold messages promoting services. Today, BroadBand Connections LLC is bringing an innovative on-hold message to the Internet click-to-call platform providing companies with a way to stream a commercial to their waiting customers.

“Click-to-call is a very popular way for website visitors to connect with live customer service agents, and now businesses can use i’Mpressions request-a-call™ to stream a commercial about their products to a potential customer in advance of connecting the call,” said Kim Gilmartin, President of BroadBand Connections LLC, creator of i’Mpressions request-a-call. “Businesses can use the commercial as branding to help them close the sale or even to promote a special offer or product line.”

When a customer clicks the i’Mpressions request-a-call button on the website, a small browser pops up asking for the customer’s phone number. The customer’s phone then rings immediately and while the call is routed to the customer service team, a full motion video announcement plays in the same window. While the 30-second video plays in the browser, the audio is synchronized on the phone, providing a high impact experience for the on-hold customer.

“The video and synchronized audio on the phone really captures the customer’s attention while they are holding, and communicates key marketing messages,” Gilmartin said. “To interactively promote your products to a captured customer while they are waiting on-hold is a marketer’s dream.”

In fact, interactive cable industry companies Metrocast and the Time Warner Cable National Division are the first two major clients to ink deals with BroadBand Connections LLC to use the advanced i’Mpressions request-a-call technology.
