SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Atreus Systems(TM) today announced the launch of its IMS Service Provisioning Solution for wireless and wireline service providers. Having established itself as the leading OSS supplier for VoIP and next-generation IP services, Atreus now empowers carriers to deliver a compelling array of converged offerings to any customer, using any device, on any fixed or mobile IMS network. Atreus is currently working with several leading carriers to launch offerings that include IP Telephony, Conferencing, Hosted Call Center, Unified Messaging, and Voice Networking.

The Atreus xAuthority(TM) solution gives service providers the ability to seamlessly extend their current bundles to include the incremental features made possible with IMS, while preserving the simplified and streamlined operational process which are the hallmark of the xAuthority software. Atreus xAuthority(TM) plays a vital role within fixed-mobile networks, providing a number of crucial IMS provisioning functions, including support for multi-service, multi-vendor solutions; dynamic self-service registration; real-time portal driven employee configuration; and controlled migration from legacy to IMS-based networks.

"With our successful track record and experience, Atreus is strongly positioned to help providers migrate to IMS and achieve first-mover advantage by accelerating deployments with a wide range of advanced multimedia applications," said Doug Bellinger, Chief Technology Officer, Atreus Systems. "Our robust solution enables multi-service revenue generation over fixed and mobile networks, helping providers to differentiate themselves with rich self-service offerings and flexible pricing models for their customers."
