SUWANEE, Ga. -- ARRIS Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARRS), the industry leader in workforce management software, today announced that the ARRIS WorkAssure Workforce Management solution now includes support for handheld devices and tablets using the Android OS platform. This release further demonstrates the ARRIS commitment to providing cable broadband operators with the full solution portfolio required in today’s competitive landscape. Technicians in the field need intelligent tools to make their jobs easier and more efficient: they are often the face of the company in the eyes of the customer and meeting subscriber service expectations is a top priority.
“Operators are beginning to phase out existing handheld devices and purchasing new Android devices because of the user-friendly features,” said ARRIS Senior Director of Assurance Solutions Product Line Management, Gary Cunha. “We want to do everything we can to make technicians in the field as productive as possible, so to that end, WorkAssure’s comprehensive mobile support can now be extended to a variety of handheld devices and tablets that use the Android OS platform.”
