PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Aricent, a global innovation, technology and services company focused exclusively on communications, today named David Freedman Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Freedman was Chief Financial Officer of KGB, a privately held, New York-based company and the world's largest independent provider of directory assistance and enhanced information services.
"David brings a great track record of managing telecom-focused companies through periods of high growth," said Sudip Nandy, chief executive officer at Aricent. "His background is well aligned with his new duties at Aricent as we continue on our mission of market leadership in addressing the surging global demand for communications domain expertise, innovation and R&D services. Mr. Freedman joins Aricent from KGB Inc., formerly Infonxx, where he has held various positions since 2000. He spearheaded multiple acquisitions in KGB to expand the delivery footprint of services to Asia and Europe including a $110 million acquisition of a major European competitor.
