AALBORG, Denmark -- 2operate, the Provider of Technology for Automation of Mobile Network Troubleshooting, has completed its second round of financing amounting to DKK 1.8m which will allow the company to start the marketing of its ground breaking troubleshooting automation tool for mobile telecoms networks.

The company has developed a product based on advanced reasoning technology (Bayesian networks) which significantly reduces the cost of operating a mobile network while at same time decreases the mean time to repair leading to better uptime and quality. The solution is self-learning and allows the operator to systematically capture experience from solved troubleshooting incidents.

Kaj Juul-Pedersen, a telecoms veteran a.o. from Ericsson, Telia, and NetTest, joins the board as chairman and investor. NOVI, the original investor, as well as board member Torben Svanberg, former president of Sonofon, also participated in the new investment round.

"It is with great pleasure and expectations that I have agreed to invest in 2operate and become an active part of the team. 2operate has developed a new concept with unique potentials in a market crying for automation and cost reductions in network operations. We have agreed on an aggressive strategy for taking this innovative concept to the market, and I am confident that we will succeed", says Kaj Juul-Pedersen, new chairman of 2operate.
