Optiwave unveils OptiSystem 4.0 at Photonics West 2005

OTTAWA -- Optiwave Corporation, the leading provider of photonic design automation tools, today has announced OptiSystem 4.0, a major upgrade to the most advanced optical communication system design tool on the market, will be unveiled at The MathWorks booth (#833) during Photonics West 2005 in San Jose, CA, this January 25-27. OptiSystem Product Manager, Dr. Jackson Klein, will be on hand to showcase OptiSystem’s strong integration with MATLAB version 7.

OptiSystem 4.0 boasts an extensive set of new features that allow users to run technically advanced optical link simulations seamlessly with MATLAB 7. “MATLAB is one of the most widely used technical computing tools on the market and supporting this integration is key to providing a complete solution for our customers,” said Jan Jakubczyk, President and CEO of Optiwave Corporation.
