PETALUMA, Calif. -- Cyan today announced that ViaWest, one of the largest privately held data center service providers in North America, has deployed Cyan's integrated data center interconnect (DCI) solution to provide virtual adjacency of ViaWest's new state of the art Synergy Park data center with its Stemmons Freeway (Dallas) location. Cyan's DCI solution integrates the high-availability, low-latency Z-Series packet-optical transport platforms (P-OTPs) with the industry-leading Cyan 360 software support systems, and Cyan PRO services to enable new data center expansion sites to perform as if they were co-located with other key data centers. This powerful solution allows ViaWest to maintain its industry leading service level agreement (SLA), while giving its customers new opportunities to expand their environments.

"We are committed to delivering our customers a unique combination of colocation, cloud, complex hosting and managed services backed by industry-leading SLAs," said Paul Gerrard, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ViaWest. "Cyan's integrated data center interconnect solution allows us to offer and support our services seamlessly and cost-effectively across our data centers in the Dallas market."
