NeoPhotonics is exhibiting its wide range of SFP, XFP, XENPAK, and X2 transceivers

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- NeoPhotonics is exhibiting its wide range of SFP, XFP, XENPAK and X2 transceivers, its complete line of components for FTTH systems and its extensive line of MEMS and PLC based passive products at the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE), booth A445 in the Shenzhen Conference and Exhibition Centre, through September 8th.

In a separate press release today, NeoPhotonics announced the acquisition of BeamExpress (Sunnyvale, Calif.), a leading manufacturer of multimode transceivers for enterprise and storage applications.

At CIOE, NeoPhotonics is showcasing its complete line of BPON, GPON and GEPON biplexers and triplexers for FTTP applications and its SFP and XFP transceivers for telecom and datacom networks. In addition, the company is introducing to the Chinese market its extensive line of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) based components and modules for fiber optic communications systems, including Variable Optical Attenuators (VOAs), Blockers, Dynamic Gain Equalizers (DGEs) and Dynamic Channel Equalizers (DCEs). Also on display will be NeoPhotonics Planar Lightwave Circuit (PLC) based AWGs, Athermal AWGs, VOA-Multiplexers and Reconfigurable Optical Add Drop Multiplexers (ROADMs).

NeoPhotonics is also announcing a significant expansion of its product line for high-capacity enterprise networks, which includes its extended line of multi-mode transceivers for enterprise and storage applications based on CWDM technology, including 10 Gb/s LX4 X2 and LX4 XENPAK transceivers. As part of the conference program, NeoPhotonics Vice President of Engineering Dr. Ping Xie will give a talk on September 6th, entitled “Optical Integration for FTTH Applications.”
