EDINBURGH, U.K. -- Today Gemfire, a leading player in integrated photonics, announced the release of two new PLC based product families, which address high growth segments of the optical networking market.

The products address opportunities in: high speed networks, operating at 40Gbps and 100Gbps, for both Telecoms and Datacoms applications; and high capacity access networks.
