CALGARY, Alberta -- Phothena Optics, a provider of low cost bi-directional SFF optical transceiver using plastic Optical Sub-Assembly (OSA), and Dasan Networks, Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens, Korea's leading supplier of broadband access equipment today announced that Phothena's 155Mbps bi-directional SFF optical transceivers are designed into Dasan's equipment for 100Mbps high speed internet. Korean Telecom has selected this solution for volume deployment in Korea's Optical LAN network rollout.
