NSN Shows Liquid Transport
Nokia Siemens Networks’ innovative Liquid Transport, which is part of its Liquid Net architecture, enhances optical networking functions by adding flexible optics and intelligent control capabilities to bring transformation and optimization across all the transport layers. This enables the network to adapt to the changing needs of consumers, the services being used and the operational state of the network itself.
“Nokia Siemens Networks is at the forefront of creating high capacity, efficient and automated solutions for all of our customers’ communications services, and we’re pleased to showcase these at OFC,” said Jim Benson, head of North America transport sales for Nokia Siemens Networks. “Liquid Transport’s functionality is enabled by key technologies such as 100G and packet optical, which are commercially available today.”
