NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Tellabs 100 Series Mini ONT, the world's smallest optical network terminal (ONT) with power over Ethernet, is now available. These Mini ONTs fit neatly into offices, in a standard wall outlet or inside a cubicle raceway.
The Mini ONT is part of Tellabs Optical LAN, which provides all the same features and functions as existing LANs. Optical LAN uniquely addresses IT needs for more bandwidth, higher availability, a simpler architecture, a longer lifecycle, stronger security, and savings in time, energy and costs.
Customers such as Sandia National Laboratories and Deltek use Optical LAN to gain these benefits.
