OTTAWA and MARIETTA, Ga. -- Optelian is pleased to announce the LightGAIN suite of Optical Transport Systems for DWDM, CWDM, WDM, FTTx, and hybrid networks.

LightGAIN 6140 features enhanced fiber management and fan-cooling to support high port density applications. LightGAIN 5140 is the ideal platform when low-power consumption is required. LightGAIN 3060 with its 1U high passive shelf matched with a 2U high active shelf is perfect for remote applications or anywhere space is limited.

All three LightGAIN systems transparently support 1 to 40 wavelengths of DWDM, 16 wavelengths of CWDM, hybrid CWDM/DWDM, and hybrid CWDM/WDM networks. LightGAIN features pluggable and tunable optics from 10Mb/s to 11.3Gb/s, amplification and dispersion compensation, and Windows and Solaris network management with optical service channel (OSC).

“What makes LightGAIN stand-out from the crowd,” says Dave Mills, VP Sales at Optelian, “is how remarkably easy it is both to deploy initially and use on an ongoing basis.”
