InnoTrans to demonstrate new adaptive return transmitter featuring clipping mitigation solution at 2011 SCTE

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- InnoTrans Communications (, which revolutionized Node Splitting and Fiber Reclamation solutions with its innovative Chromadigm full band Transmitter, will demonstrate its new Adaptive Return Transmitter at the upcoming 2011 Cable-Tec Expo to be held in Atlanta Nov. 15-17. InnoTrans will be located at Booth #1535. The new return transmitter, which utilizes patent-pending Clipping Mitigation technology used in InnoTrans’ acclaimed Chromadigm full band forward transmitter, is designed to significantly improve the dynamic RF input range by up to 6 to 8 dB over current available return transmitters.

InnoTrans, founded by the innovative technical team behind Synchronous, will also demonstrate how it’s Chromadigm full band 1550 DWDM solutions can be initially deployed for Node splitting and Fiber reclamation, and then seamlessly convert to a Fiber Deep or RFoG solution without taking down the existing network even momentarily. Also to be demonstrated will be the company’s Transcend Platform, a single rack unit (RU) modular chassis that supports up to 4 rear-facing modules with the RF and optical interfaces contained within each module, designed to eliminate optical “bottlenecks.”

“The Chromadigm full band forward path DWDM solution is being widely adopted by the MSO community in both the U.S. and Canada,” said Mani Ramachandran, InnoTrans CEO. “The solution provides operators the ability to do full eight-way node segmentation in both forward and reverse directions on one fiber, for distances up to 65 km using InnoTrans’ optical hub solutions. The new Transcend Platform will eliminate the optical bottleneck that cable operators are experiencing with increased density for both forward and reverse.
