COLUMBIA, Md. -- Essex Corporation (Amex: EYW) heads to NFOEC with the newly released alpha version of its hyperfine WDM de/multimplexer. Hyperfine WDM continues to generate strong interest from customers for its flexibility in applications ranging from Optical CDMA to network security with its Optical Privacy Device.
The National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC) is a premier fiber optics industry event that gives Essex the opportunity to demonstrate the latest packaging and applications for this flexible technology. Essex will be demonstrating its 12.5 GHz de/multiplexer to the fiber optics industry at this important show. "NFOEC marks a new phase in the commercialization of the hyperfine WDM product line," according to Leonard E. Moodispaw, CEO & President of Essex. "The new packaging and specifications of this hyperfine WDM device are designed for easy integration into Metro and Access architectures to boost the cost performance and capacity of existing networks.
