Stuart Jackson has been appointed chief financial officer

LONDON -- COLT, a leading European provider of business communications, today announced that Stuart Jackson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer reporting directly to Rakesh Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer. He will join the Company on 7 September 2009 and be appointed to the Board of Directors on that date.

Stuart will join from Acergy S.A., the offshore engineering and construction contractor, where he has been Chief Financial Officer for more than six years. Stuart has more than 25 years international financial management, corporate finance, trading and general management expertise, having managed businesses in the UK, the Far East and North Africa.

Tony Bates was Chief Financial Officer from May 2004 until he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) in April 2008; since then he has also been Acting Chief Financial Officer.

Commenting on the changes, Rakesh Bhasin said:
