NEW DELHI, India -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, announced that it has supplied its advanced STM-64 (10Gbps) next generation SDH product & solution to state-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).
Huawei has emerged as the first supplier of the STM-64 next generation SDH product & solution after the equipment underwent stringent lab and environmental testing by the TSEC of BSNL. Huawei has become the first recipient of TSEC type approval certificate for STM-64 SDH technology in India. This is also the first commercial deployment of STM64 SDH technology in BSNL network by any vendor.
Mr. Yu Yongbin, Director of Huawei Telecommunications India said that “The product is one of the most innovative and advanced in the industry thanks to its feature rich capabilities as it provides legacy TDM services and all types of IP and data services over an Automatically Switched Optical Network based multi-service platform.
