GRENOBLE, France and SUMMIT, N.J. -- OpsiTech, a leading supplier of high-performance and low-cost integrated optical components and modules for optical networking systems, has joined the multi-source agreement (MSA) on thermally stabilized arrayed waveguide AWG modules. This MSA defines the standardization of the mechanical and electrical interfaces of DWDM multiplexers and demultiplexers for both non-cyclic and cyclic operations.

"OpsiTech's customers are pleased to beneficiate from this MSA initiative. It ultimately reduces time to market, cost and inventory" said Jerome Prieur VP Sales and Business Development at OpsiTech.

OpsiTech's AWG-based components includes 50-, 100- and 200-GHz non-cyclic, cyclic and polarization maintaining multiplexer and demultiplexers.
