Leveraging its passive optical component expertise and expanding Optical Manufacturing Services (OMS), Oplink has cost-efficiently integrated electrical control, intelligence and software capabilities into the PSM. In response to customer demands for additional integration and functionality, Oplink developed this advanced PSM platform to offer subsystem-level performance. With an I2C or RS232 interface, it offers more control and intelligence for rerouting a signal from a primary to a secondary path in the event of a fiber cut. Offered as either a single or multi-channel platform, Oplink's PSM offers cost efficiency and rapid time to market to meet customers' product release schedules.
