Juniper Tests With Empirix

BEDFORD, Mass. -- Empirix® Inc., which helps organizations adopt complex communications solutions with confidence, today announced that Juniper Networks, a developer of carrier-class and enterprise routers and security platforms, has selected Empirix's Hammer testing solution for device isolation and performance testing. Juniper will use the Empirix solution to test its innovative product line to verify product functionality, reliability and scalability.

Juniper chose Empirix for its breadth of test coverage for infrastructure manufacturers, telecom application developers and service providers across the entire development and deployment lifecycle. "We required a complete load test solution to validate the performance and scalability requirements of our world-class carrier customers," said Naren Prabhu, Vice President at Juniper Networks. "In looking for this solution, we were hoping to avoid the high cost of installing and running numerous actual network elements from various vendors, which are not optimized for running and executing test scenarios.
