QUEBEC CITY, Canada -- EXFO Electro-Optical Engineering Inc. (NASDAQ: EXFO, TSX: EXF.SV) announced today that it has been selected as sole-source supplier for all fiber deployment applications by Deutsche Telekom AG, T-Com.
Deutsche Telekom AG, a Tier-1 European network operator, opted for EXFO’s Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), contained inside the best-of-class, modular FTB-400 field-test platform, based on superior technical performance, functionality, accuracy and reliability. This advanced test solution will enable the deployment of optical fiber in the carrier’s core and metro networks as well as deeper into its access networks to significantly increase bandwidth for residential and business customers.
The multi-million dollar agreement extends over several years.
