GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- BroadSoft(r), the leading provider of VoIP application software, today announced that it has strengthened its European management team with the addition of Craig Decker as the new Vice President of Sales for EMEA. In this new role, he will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing activities for BroadSoft in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Decker will lead BroadSoft's efforts to expand adoption of theBroadWorks(r) VoIP application platform among European service providers. His appointment closely follows the grand opening of BroadSoft's new European Operations Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland.The centre extends BroadSoft's capabilities to provide real-time technical support, service and training to European customers of BroadWorks.
"Craig Decker has extensive experience in both the wireline and wireless sectors and knows the European telecom market. His appointment is part of our dedication to expanding our VoIP platform marketshare, operations and support services across Europe," said Mike Tessler, president and chief executive officer of BroadSoft.
