MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- Anritsu Corporation has recently announced the release of new HSPA+ options for the MD8475A signaling and applications tester for verification of latest generation smartphones. The hardware and software options extend the functions of Anritsu's MD8475A Signalling Tester to support performance and verification tests of the newest generation of HSPA Evolution and DC-HSDPA smartphones and mobile terminals.
The MD8475A combines a wide range of hardware, software and applications content for an all-in-one, easy-to-operate unit to simulate mobile networks for the world's key mobile technologies. The new MD8475A-011 and MX847510A-011 options enable the MD8475A to simulate both HSPA Evolution and DC-HSDPA networks for configuring a verification testing environment. The MD8475A GUI interface is specifically designed to make it easy to set the HSPA Evolution/DC-HSDPA smartphone and mobile terminal test parameters. Typical tests that are made are for battery life, stability and reliability of applications performance, IP throughput, and performance of the applications and services during network handovers.
